At the invitation of Diana Greer, National President of US-China People’s Friendship Association(USCPFA), Mr. Zhang Heqiang, Director General of the Department of American and Oceanian Affairs attended the 21st US-China Relation Seminar and the events celebrating the 40th anniversary of the founding of USCPFA in Washington D.C. on 24-26, April, 2014.

Mr. Zhang delivered a key-note speech, reviewing the traditional friendship existing between USCPFA amd CPAFFC during the past four decades and commenting on how to build a new model of major-country relations between China and the United States on the Seminar. Members of USCPFA National Board and leaders of USCPFA’s branches, totalling 50 delegates, attented the Seminar.

USCPFA hosted a luncheon to celebrate its 40th birthday on the noon of 25th. Mr. Heng Xiaojun, Minister Counselor from the Embassy of People’s Republic of China attended and addressed the luncheon.
