On 26th November, vice president of CPAFFC Song Jingwu met with Mr. Ezhov, director general of Information & Municipal Affairs Bureau, Russian International Cultural Cooperation Agency (RICCA) and Ms. Kasyanova, representative of RICCA in Beijing and director general of Beijing Russian Culture Center. Vice president Song exchanged in-depth views with the guests in terms of youth exchange, municipal cooperation as well as  ideas of organising activities in coordination with official projects as well as the China-Russia Theme Year and reached multiple agreements. Both sides expressed the will to further intensify the contact, to promote the level of people-to-people exchanges of both countries and to consolidate the foundation of society and public will for bilateral relations.

On 18th November, vice president of CPAFFC Hu Sishe met with H.E. Anwar Al-Abdullah, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain in China on his visit in CPAFFC.Vice president Hu said, this year marks the 30th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the Kingdom of Bahrain. Both countries had close contact since the ancient silk road time, especially in terms of economy, trade and cultural exchanges. It is hoped that both sides could launch more cultural and economic exchanges under the framework of Belt-and-Road Initiative.H.E. Anwar Al-abdullah said, the chinese Belt-and-Road Initiative fits the perspective of Bahrain’s economic development well and the economic cooperation between both countries has been rapidly developed in recent years. He hoped to work closely with CPAFFC and commonly promote the cooperation and exchanges in various fields.Deputy director General of China Service Center for Friendship and Cooperation with Foreign Countries, Hu Yang also attended the meeting.

On November 18, Mme. Lin Yi, Vice President of CPAFFC, met with H.E. Mr. Saramady Toure, Guinean Ambassador to China.Vice President Lin Yi congratulated Ambassador Toure on assuming his new post to China and said that Guinea is the first sub-Saharan African country to establish diplomatic relations with China. Guinea is a good brother and partner of China. The CPAFFC always attaches great importance to the friendly cooperation with Guinea. This year marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Guinea. CPAFFC will co-host a celebration reception with the Guinean Embassy in China.Ambassador Toure expressed his thanks to CPAFFC for cooperation with the Embassy in hosting the reception.  He said that Guinea is always grateful for assistance from China and the reception is expected to reflect the profound friendship between the two countries. The Guinean Embassy will continue to maintain close ties with CPAFFC on related matters.Mr. Li Hai, Deputy Director-General of the Asian-African Affairs Department of CPAFFC, Mr. Bah Maadjou, Political Counselor, and Mr. Diane Sidikiba, Economic Counselor of the Guinean Embassy in China, were present at the meeting.

On November 15, Vice President Lin Yi met with the outgoing Ambassador of Oman to China Abdullah Saleh Hilah Al Saadi.Mrs. Lin thanked Ambassador Saadi for his great support to the CPAFFC over the past years. Reviewing the events jointly hosted by the CPAFFC and the Omani Embassy, she wished for Ambassador Saadi’s continuous efforts in promoting bilateral people-to-people friendship in the future. Lin said, we are willing to join hands with the Omani side to further the development of bilateral relations as well as our people-to-people friendship. Ambassador Saadi thanked the CPAFFC for its contribution on the development of bilateral ties and the enhancement of China-Oman people-to-people exchanges during his term. He said that the embassy will continue to support and cooperate with CPAFFC as a bridge between the two countries.Deputy Director General Mr. Li Hai of the Asia-Afirca Department also attended the meeting.

Vice president of CPAFFC Lin Yi met with Ayenoue, Mayor of forth District of Libreville, Gabon on November 14th. Vice president Lin welcomed the visit of Ayenoue and expressed, Gabon is the important partner of China in West Africa. It’s glad to see Gabon-China Friendship Association successfully reconstituted under the support of president Bongo. Delegation of CPAFFC plans to visit Gabon within this year and hopes to consolidate the cooperation with Gabon-China Friendship Association and to foster the China-Gabon municipal government exchanges.Ayenoue expressed, he himself has visited China multiple times and has profound affection for China. Right now, he is not only mayor of forth District of Libreville, Gabon but also member of Gabon-China Friendship Association responsible for municipal government exchanges. He said, a common will shared by people is the foundation of relations of both countries. Meeting with Mr.Khalil, President of Morocco-China Friendship Exchange Association and the delegation On 8th ,Nov., Secretary General of CPAFFC Li Xikui met with delegation of Moroccan Entrepreneurs led by Dr. Mohamed Khalil, President of Morocco-China Friendship Exchange Association(MCFEA). Secretary General Li welcomed the visit of president Khalil and the delegation and introduced the main job of CPAFFC and CFFPD as well as reviewed the close cooperation with MCFEA. He expressed that CPAFFC would further strengthen the exchange with MCFEA and friendly personage of Morocco and work as a bridge between Enterprises of both countries, so as to commonly promote the pragmatic cooperation between both countries in terms of public charity, education, health care, culture and sports etc.President Khalil thanked Secretary General Li for his time of meeting and gave positive remarks about excellent social effect due to the successful donation of Gamma Knife from China to Morocco co-enablized by CFFPD and MCFEA. He said, it is the common sense of all circles in Morocco to strengthen the cooperation in economy and trade with China and he hoped that both sides could work together to open more channels for cooperation of all fields between both countries and to build the platform of Morocco-China economic and trade cooperation, which would help make more excellent cooperation projects into reality.On behalf of the visiting entrepreneurs, president of U2M Investment Mr. Belhassan Si Mohamed expressed a strong will of cooperating with chinese companies and introduced the idea of establishing a China Trade Town in Morocco. From November the 2nd to 6th, CPAFFC received the visit of Speaker of the Croatian Parliament Jandroković in China, who attended the Second China International Import Expo in Shanghai. 21 delegates including Croatian Minister of Agriculture Marija Vučković, Minister of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts Darko Horvat, State Secretary of Tourism Frano Matušić, State Secretary of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts Mario Antonić and delegates from Croatian Parliament, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Chamber of Commerce came to visit alongside.In Beijing, Chairman of the standing committee of the National People's Congress Li Zhanshu met the delegation. In Shanghai, the delegation attended the opening ceremony of the Second China Import Expo and the session of Opening-up, Regulation and Business Environment of Hongqiao Economic Forum. The Speaker of Parliament Jandroković made a speech at the opening of the session.Speaker of Parliament Jandroković and president of CPAFFC Li Xiaolin attended the opening ceremony of the special exhibition of History of European Greeting Cards & Postcards for 100 years and delievered speeches respectively.In Beijing, the delegates also visited the Exibition of Great Achievements Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the founding of PRC.

On 5th November, vice president Song Jingwu met with delegation of Japan-China Future Association led by famous japanese friendly personage Minamimura Shirou.Vice president Song praised Minamimura Shirou for his agelong engagement in China-Japan amity and introduced the exchange situation of CPAFFC towards Japan in recent years. He expressed that a vital opportunity for development of current China-Japan relation is coming and CPAFFC would work together with all Japanese of noble aspiration in various fields including Japan-China Future Associaton to inherit the tradition of amity between China and Japan, to constantly enrich the content of people-to-people exchanges, to develop new blood for China-Japan amity and to contribute commonly to building a China-Japan relation fitting the demands of new era.Minamimura said, Japan-China relation has been and will still be through all kinds of ups and downs. Both sides should fullly realize the importance of Japan-China amity to develop a stable and long-range relation between both countries. Japan-China Future Association would continue to uphold the spirit of Japan-China amity and contribute to people-to-people friendly exchange between both countries.

    Seventy years with rains and hardships, seventy years with fruits and success.Seventy years of friendship road we went through together.In this colorful July with the 70th anniversary of diplomatic ties between China and Russia and the founding of the China Russian Friendship Association, the“Chinese and Russian Youth Revisiting the Friendship Road of Seventy Years”, initiated and co-hosted by the CPAFFC and the China Russian Friendship Association had its inauguration in Beijing on June 30th.     70 youth from difference regions and walks of society in Russia resembling 70 years friendship between China and Russia, together with about 100 youth from Chinese provinces, autonomous regions and universities gathered in Beijing. In the beautiful compound of the CPAFFC headquarters, the Chinese and Russian youth are all in white T-shirts with the logo which is consisted of the pictures of Chinese and Russian national flags and the number of “70” and the character “Friendship” reflecting youth and vitality.Mr Song Jingwu, Vice President from the CPAFFC and Vice President of the China Russian Friendship Association and Ms Olga Melnikova, Cultural Counsellor of Russian Embassy and Director of Russian Cultural Center in Beijing addressed the inauguration.Vice President Song Jingwu said that to carry out the instructions of the heads of state of the two countries and in line with the 70th anniversary of diplomatic ties between China and Russia, with the support of relevant departments from the two countries, the “Chinese and Russian Youth Revisiting the Friendship of Seventy Years”is launched today after over six months’ planning and preparation. He hopes the Chinese and Russian youth can take this chance to revisit the path and status quo of the friendship between China and Russia and develop their own thoughts and vision about the future of the bilateral relations. Hope the Chinese and Russian youth can sow the seeds of friendship through their first-hand knowledge of each other’s countries and since then take part into the friendship undertaking throughout their life and he is willing to wait together with the youth for the fruits of the friendship between China and Russia. In her address, Cultural Counsellor Olga Melnikova said that “Chinese and Russian Youth Revisiting the Friendship of Seventy Years”hosted by the CPAFFC is aimed to create a platform for the mutual understanding of each other’s country culture.During the inauguration, youth from the Russian Cultural Center and the CPAFFC gave their culture performances and brought the event to a new high.
