全国友协共召开了十次全国理事会。楚图南、王国权、柴泽民、王炳南、章文晋、韩叙、齐怀远、陈昊苏、李小林先后任会长。 第一届 1954 年5 月，中国人民对外文化协会成立大会在北京召开。 第二届 1963 年1 月，全国理事会会议召开。 第三届 1966 年4 月，全国理事会会议，宣布改称为中国人民对外文化友好协会。 第四届 1986 年12 月，全国理事会会议，推选邓颖超为名誉会长。 第五届 1990 年3 月，全国理事会会议，江泽民总书记、政治局常委李瑞环出席开幕式。 第六届 1994 年5 月，全国理事会会议，庆祝188bet亚洲成立40 周年。
Up to date, the CPAFFC has convened ten National Council Meetings. Chu Tunan, Wang Guoquan, Chai Zemin, Wang Bingnan, Zhang Wenjin, Han Xu, Qi Huaiyuan, Chen Haosu, and Li Xiaolin were elected as its President The First National Council Meeting was convened in May 1954, at which the Chinese People’s Association for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries was established. The Second National Council Meeting was convened in January 1963. The Third National Council Meeting was convened in April 1966, at which the Association was renamed the Chinese People’s Friendship Association for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries. The Fourth National Council Meeting was convened in December 1986, at which Deng Yingchao was elected HonoraryPresident. The Fifth National Council Meeting was convened in March 1990. CPC Central Committee General Secretary JiangZemin and Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau Li Ruihuan attended the opening ceremony ofthe Meeting. The Sixth National Council Meeting was convened in May 1994 in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the CPAFFC.
